Let's not let it fade into history

Could childhood as we knew it fade into history?

Spontaneous play sessions, board games, long bike rides with no destination, and face-to-face laughter that didn’t require a filter.

Many of today’s children are digital natives, raised on tablets, learning to swipe before they can speak, and mastering the art of streaming before they’ve even learned how to truly socialise.

Gen Z and the generations to follow may never know the thrill of a board game rivalry, the magic of getting lost in a woodland adventure or deep talks with friends at sleepovers!

We must show them that joy doesn’t have to come from a screen and that real connection isn’t found in comments and likes.

Those who remember, Let’s show kids what fun was like before scrolling.

We have the choice to revisit those moments and the opportunity to pass them on.

Unplug. Reconnect. Educate

So Unplug. Reconnect. Educate.

Because if we don’t encourage each other and teach the children of the future,  the special connection that comes from real world engagement may all just become a distant memory.
